The location offers a great view overlooking the river, and the beautiful staircase gives the hotel a lot of character. The rooms have unique layouts, with some featuring decent bathroom sizes, despite the slightly worn decor.
The room I was in had inadequate lighting with only one working light, making it tough to navigate. The shower head was frustratingly low for anyone of average height, and the overall noise insulation left much to be desired. you could hear everything from above. internet connectivity was hit-or-miss, which made it hard to plan our next moves. The breakfast was a cold, basic selection that didn't justify its price, especially with so many dining options nearby.

I had a wonderful stay and absolutely loved the convenience of being just beneath a stunning castle! Breakfast on the terrace, with a breathtaking view overlooking the water, was simply unforgettable. Plus, the spacious Comfort Double Room, beautifully furnished with an ancient stone fireplace, made my stay feel special.

Our stay at The Originals Boutique, Hotel Le George, Loches was lovely! The Comfort Double Room was spacious, beautifully furnished with an ancient stone fireplace, and had a nice view over a water stream. The hotel's location is perfect, just beneath the castle and only a short walk to restaurants and shops. Plus, the free public parking nearby was super convenient!
The staircase to the second floor was a bit tricky.

Had a great time with friends! Explored the lovely local castle and enjoyed some nice golfing. The hotel is clean, has plenty of parking, and the restaurant is top-notch. Definitely recommend trying the meals there, especially if you can sit by the river.
We had a bit of trouble accessing the hotel when we first arrived, as the reception wasn't open despite the listed hours.
